Phosphorus is one of the most important mineral elements for animal health, especially for bone health and membrane function. The deficiency of phosphorus would severely affect on the growth performance and apparently decrease the survive rate and production yield. The phosphorus naturally exists in the plants in the form of phytate, which cannot be digested by most animals except ruminants. Thus, it is essential to supplement phosphorus to poultry, pigs and aqua fish to fulfill the demand of phosphorus for normal growth.
